I haven't played it in .048 but it was working as of OpenMW v.047. I recall that there were a few CTDs in the castle but the mod as a whole was completeable. I have no idea what was causing the CTDs though.

Re: OAAB DATA help

@Cl3v3rP0tat0:

So, OAAB_Data (HD) is a folder within your Section_Four folder alongside OAAB_Data rather than within?

And your locations are definitely different from mine. For me, .local/share/openmw/data is where the CS saves and stores .omwaddons. Interesting.

Anyways, thanks for chiming in.

Re: OAAB DATA help

All you need from OAAB Data is what's within the 00 Core folder, with the exception of the MWSE (Morrowind Script Extender) folder and the OAAB_Data-metadata.toml file. The former contains scripts that are designed for and needed by the Morrowind vanilla engine and the latter is read by MWSE to prov...

Re: Mod compatibility checking tools

I think you may be looking for 'Verify' located under 'File' in the toolbar. It lists errors, warnings, missing icons and the like.

Referenced here in the CS manual.

I hope that helps.

Re: Advice Concerning Unintentionally Modified Records

I completely agree with those finding it annoying and open an issue for adding a read-only mode to openmw-CS some time ago. That would be helpful if implemented, agreed, but that doesn't remedy the issue. I research other mods in a similar fashion as stated in your provided link but if I interact w...

Re: Advice Concerning Unintentionally Modified Records

I don't know about the CS. I'll send this to someone who might. Thanks, man. It's just one of those things that makes a reality check harder...did I inadvertently and unknowingly change something...shall I disregard this warning, must I life in fear? aaaaiiiiieeeE!!! Look at it this way: It keeps y...

Re: Advice Concerning Unintentionally Modified Records

That's what it's doing - is that conventional? Just clicking on a script field registers as an edit? I'm no expert, barely more than a novice, but it seems to me that such sensitive behavior would not be conventional. And I just remembered that if you go to the menu bar-> Edit-> Undo, you can't und...

Re: Advice Concerning Unintentionally Modified Records

When you say 'look' at a script, do you mean simply opening the record? That hasn't been happening for me. The CS logs a modification when I activate the cursor in the script field without adding/deleting anything, and copying any text from the field will log a modification too. Just opening it does...
