If OpenMW doesn't use that record, it might be a good idea to have it give a warning on the console and otherwise ignore it.

Not bad at all! OpenMW's probably at a similar stage to where it was before the switch to OSG. Hopefully it'll be possible to add the smaller details that were so difficult with the OGRE codebase.

In settings.cfg I can do this:
But I'm not sure which of the other settings I need to add/edit to enable distant land.

Apparently they used the original Morrowind heightmap for this game. Not entirely sure I believe that.

Cool! Now make party of heroes and turn0baced combat and we can start do M&M6 remake :D Or Wizardry 8. Wiz8 also supports realtime/phased and turn-based combat. It also had a much more interesting party dynamic. The "blobber"-style party support would be of interest, at this point. Th...
