Re: Specular Highlights?
Very promising, PeterBitt. The meshes certainly could use some work, though -- that right cheekbone looks as if it could poke my eye out.

Re: Specular Highlights?
PeterBitt, that was a very interesting read. Thankyou for your work -- I, for one, use many of your mods already (I love Modern User Interface and A Strange Plant in particular). It would be great to see what you do with the vanilla textures. After going down the 'replace ALL the things' route, I ag...

Re: New Skywind trailer
Yeah, the two projects are coming from entirely different angles. OpenMW has functioning assets, but an incomplete engine, Skywind has a working engine but assets that don't function yet. There really are excellent opportunities for collaboration here -- for example, one of the artists creating new ...

Re: 0.27.0 Bugs (Windows 7)
NPCs that use heads from the (Race) Redone mods have their heads floating backward above their bodies. They don't show up in chargen either. (Here's one) http://morrowind.nexusmods.com/mods/42853 This one is already on the tracker: http://bugs.openmw.org/issues/856 Now I'm having another problem. W...

Re: Bug Report, Windows 32 bit
I'm having a lot of problems with moving the camera in the latest Windows build (3EF5FCB). Specifically, I almost always cannot turn the camera when the player is moving, and there is a 1 second or so lag before I can move the camera after the player has stopped. If you like, I can try and pinpoint ...

Re: Bug Report, Windows 32 bit
It's a bug in vanilla, see: http://www.uesp.net/morrow/editor/mw_cs ... shtml#drop and OpenMW's behaviour should be the correct one here. Fair enough. Perhaps the behaviour was changed because it is impossible to pick up items at the feet of NPCs (unless they move). Not really an issue imo, unless ...

Bug Report, Windows 32 bit
Hi, I spent a few hours testing out the latest Windows build (D4B8AC5). Here are a couple of probable bugs I found. I'll register for the tracker -- please tell me what should be added. Deviations from Vanilla dialogue filtering Talk to Sellus Gravius after a new game. In vanilla Morrowind, the topi...

Re: 3D scene: Navigation modes
I suggest that someone bring up this issue (and the lighting mode one) in the OpenMW thread on the official forums. I am sure the people there could provide useful input. (As for me, my limited experience is with the tesCS, which was pretty painful. I'd love WASD for navigation, but am not sure what...

Re: OpenMW 0.27.0
I tried to launch OpenCS using Ace's Windows 32-bit build, but I received this error: "The program can't start because QtNetwork4.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem."
Reinstalled, still received the same error mesage.

Re: OpenMW FAQ
Hey Zedd, I do quite a bit of proof-reading (casual English tutor), so here is a basic proof-read version, if it helps. Bolded bits are changes. What is OpenMW/OpenCS? OpenMW is a new and modern engine based on the one that runs the 2002 Game of the Year, The Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind. The engine (...
