Re: Sound Improvements
Unfortunately I disagree with removing Audiere support, both ffmpeg and mpg123+libsndfile need a Cygwin and MingW install to properly compile and use in Windows. This is not true. They are probably mostly used in such setups but they have native (as in .lib/.dll) builds for windows. i don't know if...

Re: OpenMW 0.12.0
Rejoice, Windows x64 build: http://ace.haxalot.com/projects/OpenMW/OpenMW-0.12.0-win64.exe (Haven't been able to test it properly as I built it over remote desktop) I've tried it and it's missing the d3dx9_43.dll used by the direct3d9 renderer. Everything works fine when using the opengl renderer.

Re: Launchpad
I've also made both a libogre-static and an openmw source package. They are nearly done but i need a short description (max 60 characters) and a long description for these binary packages which are build by the openmw source package: openmw (contains the openmw binary) openmw-data (contains the des...

Re: Launchpad
I've got a little fix for the libbullet source package. Instead of creating the needed directories and copying the build libs and includes from tmp in override_dh_install you just create 2 files for each package one with the suffix .dirs and one with the suffix .install. This looks like this for the...

Re: Launchpad
I have no experience with ppas, but i already had a look at doing this myself. I think if we use Launchpad we should use it's auto packaging mechanism. The problems i had when trying to create a source package were: 1. CMake/CPack deb support is very limited. You basically can't create multiple debs...

Re: Bullet Optimisation
Like i said in the End of Year Status 2011 thread: Good news everyone! It seems like this issue is finally solved in the bullet svn (it's still present in the 2.79 release thought). I couldn't reproduce it anymore with my laptop nor with my desktop on linux. So please try out the latest revision of ...
