Re: False accusations?!

I wonder if you stored an item flagged as 'stolen', and retrieving it triggered the stealing-from-guild event? Anyways, I recommend using a spell of damage stats on them until they can't move, and destroy their weapons, so you have a group of angry yelling statue-people. [EDIT] Nvm, I need to wake u...

Re: The value of gold.

It's a bit lame how you can be completely unburdened by having 100K gold in your pocket
I had always assumed there were higher-denomination coins, like a 1K Septim that some Khajit won't break, and that Dunmer put under a scanner before they accept it.

Re: VR Support

It looks like OpenVR is licensed under "3-clause" BSD. https://github.com/ValveSoftware/openvr/blob/master/LICENSE The original BSD license was incompatible with the GPL because it imposed further restrictions on what you're allowed to do with the code, specifically the "advertisement clause". 3. Al...

Re: The Friendly Neighborhood Systems Analyst Asks: Please Take this Survey!

1. Are you also interested in utilizing OpenMW as an engine for your own game project? If yes, please describe what you have in mind, and what mechanics you feel you need to add, remove, or alter in the engine, or alternatively, how would you manage to adapt to your setting as is? No. 2. If you're h...

Re: Long time no see!

Are there any plans to merge graphic herbalism into OpenMW, or will it always be a separate mod? I'll argue for adding it in: It's like the UI tweaks that let you brew many potions at once, making the game less annoying. It doesn't change the game mechanics, just makes potions less tedious to brew. ...

I would also appreciate such an option, I've always found that the challenge is what makes Morrowind fun.

Re: Newbie here going into Morrowind for the first time, any suggestions/advice/ whatever else for me?

I've scraped together a list of pro tips that may help the new adventurer: Don't look for a good time in Maar Gan. "Move along, scum." is Dunmer for "Have a nice day." Enjoy the U-Pick fruit lots that dot the Ascadian Isles. (Argonians only) The proper utensil for eating live Bull Netch is the salad...

Re: OpenMW 0.45.0

I tested openmw-0.45.0-Linux-64BitRC1 for a couple hours tonight, on Xubuntu 18.04. The only issue I had was that screenshots for saved games weren't showing up until I installed libjpeg62 from the Ubuntu repos. libjpeg-dev depends on libjpeg8, but openmw seems to want libjpeg62 specifically. Anyway...
