Interesting! Not much we can do about it in 0.17.0, but I will put it on the roadmap for 0.18.0.

I really am not completely getting what you are saying. But I think it sounds like something that is n th realm of modding, not the engine itself. Yeah. Direct object manipulation was never a part of Morrowind. You could take a soulgem or a repair hammer and modify equipment through the window that...

:o That's weird. Maybe It's because I'm using an Nvidia card, or because I don't get great framerates in Morrowind to begin with. I don't know what the exact FPS are (how do you check that?) but in OpenMW I get >60 indoors, and >40 outdoors.

Both of the comments I've posted on the front page have been marked as spam, and put in a moderator approval queue. The newer one is still waiting there. Neither one had any links, or product names, or anything else that would mean spam.

It looks like there was a ticket about this: http://bugs.openmw.org/issues/213

They settled on using a sine wave for the light's magnitude. But in Morrowind, it would be a sine wave with a randomly changing wavelength. I request that the ticket be reopened, or another one made.

Oh well, I just tried OpenMW and Morrowind on the same system, and it runs at least as well, and without the graphic screwups Morrowind causes on this card. That's something to be proud of.
