Re: Scripting Reference
Thanks for the links! But you're right, I have already skimmed your documentation contribution guide and I don't really need the guidance :P One thing I am wondering about is how we want the offline help to be added to the edited executable. I believe it would be possible to include it as part of th...

Re: Application: Desttinghim
Thanks! I'll reach out if I get stuck. So far everything seems fairly straightforward in the code.

Re: Scripting Reference
Thank you for the reply: it helped a ton! It looks like sphinx is capable of producing QtHelp files! That should make integrating offline help much easier.
Yes, I would be interested in seeing the guide that you are working on.

Scripting Reference
I am interested in getting the scripting reference documentation made. (Gitlab Issue) My eventual goal is to get it added into OpenMW-CS as offline documentation, but before that can happen it needs to be made. I am willing to work on this, but I am not sure where I would put the files and how I wou...

Re: Move RTD docs to separate repo
I would side with putting the docs in the same repository as the code so we don't get desyncs (assuming the documentation is updated at the same time as the code :P). The docs I am most interested in is scripting, CS usage, and so on. Having this available offline (or at all) for modders/game creato...

Re: Move RTD docs to separate repo
This is relevant to an issue I am working on. I am trying to implement offline documentation to be used for OpenMW-CS (link for reference). I don't know if this documentation would be useful in that context (I don't have a good grasp on the code base yet). Has a decision been reached on this?

Re: Application: Desttinghim
Yes, I have read through the developer's checklist. The CS is the part I'm most excited about as someone who dreams of being a game developer. I'm a fan of open source software in general, and I'd like to see more games that are released under open licenses (including the content). I'd like to see w...

Re: Rethinking the Example Suite
Any more thoughts on the Waste's Edge idea? I am new here, but I think remaking a previous open license game is good idea. Especially one with a non-combat focus - Morrowind's combat system is not nearly as interesting (at least to me) as it's dialogue system. I am planning on playing through Waste'...

Application: Desttinghim
Hello, I have had an off-and-on interest in OpenMW. I did not grow up on Morrowind (I'm a bigger fan of Zelda myself), but I like the idea of an open source, open world RPG engine. I want to help fix bugs and contribute to the example suite. I am a self-taught programmer (though I have a little coll...
