For those failing to build openmw-git on archlinux , manjaro and other distros that support AUR :
use my https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/bullet-multithreaded
It's built with multithreaded support (needed for async physics) AND Double precision .

Re: Help figuring out framerate!
Not all distros do use that file, but I'm 95& sure *buntu does and Linux MInt uses many *buntu pacakges as base for their own.
Ok , falling back to a more generic way :
as root run

Re: Help figuring out framerate!
Ok, your X setup looks good. /proc has its own filesystem called procfs[1] and files under /proc are special . Post the output of $ zcat /proc/config.gz | grep SMP [1] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Procfs P.S. It seems my memories of a piledriver laptop (running archlinux) differ from those of other...

Re: Help figuring out framerate!
OTOH the amd Piledriver cores used in the A10 5800k are known for having good multicore performance. Amd opensource drivers on linux tend to perform much better then the proprietary ones (linux AND windows) and have great OpenGL / Vulkan support. data0angel, your system has 2 videocards : an integra...

Imperial cult altar 'Restore Attributes' costs 25 gold for non-members and is supposed to do exactly the same as almsivi restoration . Murder of the Tax Collector Seyda Neen, the Exquisite ring not on Processus' corpse, presumably on Foryn Gilnith. Also, probably only get 500 gold, not 700 from expl...

Thanks for the clarification.
@openmw-git users of Archlinux, Manjaro and other aur supporting distros :
I created and uploaded a bullet package with multithreaded support.
install https://aur.archlinux.org/pkgbase/bullet-multithreaded/ and rebuild openmw-git against it

Re: which bullet settings are needed for async-physics ?
By the way, I think you've got your compiler support wrong. I see handling for OpenMP with MSVC, too, and nothing compiler-specific with TBB, just that you need to provide a path to the library. Yep, the compiler part was incorrect guesswork. Thank you for the clear answers, AnyOldName3 and psi29a ...

which bullet settings are needed for async-physics ?
I noticed that https://gitlab.com/OpenMW/openmw/-/commit/c16fa274079d12fd82b221230d9e6091edbd2790 allows physics to run in separate threads when bullet is built with multithreading support . I checked bullet 3.06 https://github.com/bulletphysics/bullet3/blob/3.06/CMakeLists.txt . There appear to be ...

Re: Mod to reduce greetings?

Used for those annoying voice greetings NPCs use when you get too close Specifically (if the construction set help is to be believed) this is multiplied by their hello rating to get...
