Re: How to run away from enemies?

Try disabling the navigator , https://openmw.readthedocs.io/en/stable/reference/modding/settings/navigator.html . I'm wondering if there may be something else going on. If the enemies were creatures guards should attack them, so your chasers must be npcs . How do you get so many enemies to chase you...

Re: Nub to modding OpenMW- making custom textures work.

but in OpenMW they became bright pink blank textures That usually means openmw is unable to locate or use the texture. This can have many causes* , check the openmw log file . https://wiki.openmw.org/index.php?title=Paths incase you don't know where to find them. * one I encountered myself 2 or 3 v...

Looks like readthedocs also needs updating, only master and latest show recent changes.

Re: OpenMW 0.46.0 Released!

Build from source of 0.46-branch works fine here. QT 5.15 , Openscenegraph 3.6-git , libpng 1.6.37 (would be libpng16 if using same naming scheme as libpng12 ) etc. The archlinux official openmw package also builds from source and was updated 37 hours ago, no bug reports atm . Just one word of cauti...

Re: OpenMW 0.46.0

One thing I noticed in 0.46.0 rev df1417bf32133ca0a57928c21cfd45b32ef009ad , openscenegraph 3.6-branch has to do with shadows. On bottom level of gnisis temple (where Mehra Drora is found) I noticed a moving shadow. It looked very much like the npc I had seen one level higher in the temple . In a fe...

Re: Choosing between ogre and opengl on Gentoo

The openmw 0.45 ebuild for gentoo[1] only mentions openscenegraph . ebuild for mygui 3.2.2 & 3.4.0 [2] do indeed seem to allow choosing between ogre and opengl . Re: First ever MW playthrough-advice

If your installation includes the Tribunal expansion, you may want to add one mod, https://modding-openmw.com/mods/expansion-delay/ For detailed info https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Tribunal:Dark_Brotherhood_Attacks Basically whenever you rest (like to heal up) there's a big chance you'll be attacked by to...

Re: Price Balance + At Home Alchemy

The reference to CFG generator suggest you want those changes to be made on https://modding-openmw.com/ ? If so, please use their issue tracker , https://git.modding-openmw.com/Modding-OpenMW.com/momw/issues An alternative would be to use the modular version of price balance and remove Price Balance...

Building openmw 0.46 from source on linux

I'm considering to build openmw 0.46 from source to test it out on archlinux . 2 questions : - openmw branch / tag It looks like I should checkout https://gitlab.com/OpenMW/openmw/-/tree/openmw-46 , is that correct ? - openscenegraph For openscenegraph there are several options : openscenegraph 3.6....
