It actually is a thing it is called GemRB it can play all of the Infinity Engine games from Baldurs Gate 1 to Plane Scape torment. It has been in Active development since before Morrowind was even released. https://gemrb.org

So the 20th anniversary of Morrowind is May 1st is there any plans to release something maybe a smaller version 4.8 with the Lua and bugfixes for the 1st? I know this may not be possible so close to the date if not a release some sort of announcement or maybe a teaser.

This could be a font issue try installing the symbola font as it includes all the emoji in monochrome text form. Most systems fill in the missing unicode code points in a font with another font so if you install symbola it should help with the displaying of the emoji. you can get it here http://user...
