Re: OpenMW freezing before main menu

How can I change my FFMPEG version? There's no older versions on Ubuntu's repository neither on Fedora's I suppose it would be simpler for you just to try to use 0.46 builds. Also you can try to rename the Data Files/Video folder to workaround the issue (if it is really caused by video decoding). A...

Re: OpenMW freezing before main menu

Also make sure that you do not use OpenMW 0.45 with ffmpeg 4.x - it uses a deprecated API, which do not work properly with new versions of ffmpeg.
In theory, it may cause freezes during audio/video decoding.

Re: Simple Companion function not working

Take a look at script of mercenary from Tribunal, you can use it as example. If I remembered correctly, you need to attach a script to the target NPC with the "companion" local variable. Share window is available when this variable is not 0.

Re: How is the "Level Progress" tooltip created?

The LevelToolTip is handled directly in XML files, and it get current level progress in the statswindow.cpp.

Re: Errors in Morrowind Rebirth

It would be better if you post your openmw.log, output of "betacomment" console command on buggy objects, and their meshes (betacomment tells which NIF file object uses) instead of savegame and mod list.

Okay, let me know which commits those are as well so I can propose them for OSG-3.4 in Debian (Ubuntu).
I suppose Capostrophic is a right person to answer such questions since he cherry-picked related commits.

Re: OpenMW 0.46.0

How is OSG a blocker for 0.46? It is not a STRICT blocker, but upstream OSG contains several fixes, important for mods compatibility (e.g. improved TGA loading and support for paletted DDS). I suppose it would be very good to have these fixes in the OSG-on-steroids (which is used at least in builds...

Re: OpenMW 0.46.0

I suppose these things are left for 0.46:
1. Get an approval from AnyOldName3 about backporting OpenMW-related fixes from upstream OSG to the OSG-on-steroids.
2. Run a yet another coverity scan.

Excepts of these tasks, the code itself is good enough to start an RC-phase, IMO.
