Re: A kind of crazy idea
I'd be down to upscale/re-landscape Morrowind and then manually fill it with random statics (plants, rocks etc.), provided it wasn't just me. Sure it'd be a ridiculous amount of work, but look how many mods there already are for MW that re-landscape the wilderness, add extra clutter to cities or fi...

Re: A kind of crazy idea
Visual for how much larger Morrowind would be if upscaled https://i.imgur.com/pD40hQD.png Needless to say, I think I agree that 2X would be the best way to go. Then again, that really depends on how many people would be down for modding this. If there was a way to move statics without doing it manua...

Re: A kind of crazy idea
Well now that over time is... over at work, I have time to read and respond! First and foremost, I didn't think that I would get so many responses! Now, as I said before, the 10X was just a place holder, and not a desire. I have no need to walk a literal three day trek from Seyda Neen to Balmora in ...

A kind of crazy idea
So, I know you wonderful folks have been working hard on this engine. With that knowledge, I assume you have an "idea" of it's limitations. Now, I'm a completely crazy N'wah and often ponder ideas that, to many, seem like a waste of time or just down right weird. The other day I had an ide...

Re: Not so distant land: we're not the only ones!
I set mine in OpenMW to max, I can see everything. I really do enjoy it that way, but the aesthetic of a shorter view distance shouldn't be overlooked. To each his own. Morrowind looks amazing no matter how you slice it!

Re: OpenMW Nightly builds
It would seem that on the latest nightly 12/7/18, that saving is rather borked. I can quick save once, and do a normal save once. Anything past that freezes the program and crashes it.

Re: 360 degree screenshots?
We should use these as propaganda ;) I mean, I use my Morrowind is Home page to promote OpenMW, so by all means, produce more stuff for me to spread! This project is really a dream come true for many Morrowind fans! If there was a way to have every OpenMW update automatically post to Morrowind Is H...

Re: 360 degree screenshots?
Thank you! That works splendidly! I'm enjoying this a wee bit too much.AnyOldName3 wrote: ↑13 Nov 2018, 01:57 In settings.cfg, you can set the screenshot format. One of the options is 360° screenshots, so if you select that and press the screenshot hotkey, that's what gets saved.
