Re: Annoying stuttering
With further experimentation the main thing influencing the length of these initialisation/load data intervals/stutters is having ground cover enabled. Same for two different types (Remiros and Aethesia). If I don't have ground cover the stutters are there but not so noticeable. With ground cover ev...

Re: Annoying stuttering
How fast are you going when you're moving around cells? Normal walking shouldn't produce this behaviour as we have cell preloading to prevent that. SSD or HDD? Have you taken into account some of the other CPU consuming processes going on like navmesh generation? Have you tried turning async physic...

Re: Annoying stuttering
I thought I'd append a comment/observation here even though it is a different type of "stuttering" I have been playing around with MacOS 0.47 development versions and they are great! Really think this is a massive incremental step. Well done to everyone involved. Can really consider now combining ad...

Re: Beautiful Cities of Morrowind Issue
Well, the problem has been fixed but not solved as such. By a process of removing and re-adding various mods in the openmw.cfg file and doing a fresh restart each time (the testing mode in the launcher is great for this) I stumbled across a configuration in which the missing doors reappeared. It is ...

Beautiful Cities of Morrowind Issue
Looking for some advice over an issue I have associated with the currently popular Beautiful Cities of Morrowind mod. The issue is that the interior of St Olms Plaza and St Delyn Plaza are a bit messed up in two ways. One, there is a missing outer door in one of the interior buildings of the plaza i...

Re: Bugs(?) while playing
I've seen the npc falling through the static too. Maybe half a dozen times and always in Balmora on two of the staircases (at one of those same places by the looks of your picture). I saw it in 0.46 as well but I use Kilcunda's Balmora mod so maybe a mod issue?

Re: Observations on 0.46.0
I've noticed a very different influence of shadows on FPS wandering around Solstheim from Bloodmoon compared with say the Bitter Coast region. On my iMac with all shadows enabled the FPS counter in the Bitter Coast region will vary from around 35 to 60 FPS depending on my precise location and look d...

Re: Annoying NPCs attacking me (SOLVED)
I solved it. I'd forgotten I had Starfires NPC additions mod and that is where they are coming from. Shame.
Thanks for your help anyway.

[Solved] Annoying NPCs attacking me
I don't know whether this is an openmw issue or a mod issue, but I thought I'd start here. In my last two games (openmw 0.45 and now the latest nightly) I am frequently getting attacked on sight by NPCs in several towns. Currently I have just started a new character and have been Balmora less than o...
