Re: PBR in OpenMW on reddit
I would love to see a PBR setup in OpenMW, it would certainly get me a lot more interested in modding Morrowind again. It is basically the standard these days, even Blender defaults to a PBR workflow for both Eevee and Cycles now. It isn't that hard to make maps for it manually. Metalness is nearly ...

Re: Useful Measurement Values
Heh, ya, that 70 units per meter thing always really irked me. I get twitchy when it comes to non-power-of-2 units. :geek: I am still slowly but surely importing assets to Blender a bit each day, but I also started to make some models for the Tamriel Rebuilt folks, which has slowed down my progress ...

Re: Useful Measurement Values
Sorry for the slow updates, but there are so many nifs to go through. I am still a long ways off from going through them all, but I've done enough of the interior bits so far to update this thread with some of the common sizes used for the small/standard sized tiles. - Tiles are 256 GU per side, or ...

Useful Measurement Values
For ages now I have been curious about the size of things in Bethesda's games, as far as what scale they were working with, often times it gets said that they use a 70 game units per meter, but that is actually off, because someone rounded the value for simplicity sake and the rounded value kept get...

Re: My first texture replacement. [Updated]
Ya, I agree actually, after playing with it activated for a while now I noticed at certain times of the day (and night) it was much stronger than I intended. I need to go back in and redo it again. I would have already done it by now, but I got caught up with the idea of reinstalling Skyrim and usin...

Re: My first texture replacement. [Updated]
Here's someone who does this the real way! :) Really nice work! I was planning on adding this particular texture to my hlaalu pack later, but I not really sure if it is needed anymore. :) Thanks, was a fun practice project. I think I will do the brick paver looking ground texture used on the upper ...

My first texture replacement. [Updated]
Update: After about 5 revisions I finally have these textures pretty much where I wanted them before letting them loose into the general public. My experience is mostly with modeling, texturing is still pretty new to me, so I am sure there is plenty of room for improvement on these, but I am still f...
