I have a possible fix in mind, but I've never experienced this issue myself - can you show me one of those "way too detailed meshes" that NPCs are walking into? Also I don't recall finding a very specific instance of an NPC doing it by themselves. I could replicated it with my own charact...

For me it was some NPC walking into and colliding with some WAY WAY too detailed mesh, and according to scrawl there's some bug with the 60+fps microstutter fix that's making the physics go insane. I can't wait for this to be fixed, I think its the only major thing that's dropping my frames.

If OpenMW got a mod manager, it should be part of the launcher. I LOVE the fact that I can just make a folder, drop the files in there, and control load order within the INI files.

Right now whats killing framerate is the physics thread, I made a low effort texture pack with normals and speculars just to test it out and really doesn't add that much to the rendering time. There's currently a bug with the physics thread, Scrawl said its got something to do with the >60 fps fixes...
