This is a really cool project!
I think the benefits of a text based format (and thus all the benefits of version control) would be quite the boon to larger mod projects such as Tamriel Rebuilt.

Re: balance in openmw
But that wouldn't be the case in the OP's example, as they were attacking the smugglers in Addamasartus, who shouldn't have any immunities.

Re: Get OpenMW on Steam
I think this is an excellent idea, but it might be best to wait for 1.0

Re: Blight Storm Rotation
I think your proposal is vastly superior, but I'm not sure if it's an engine issue and thus OpenMW's problem.
A contributing dev could probably answer that.

Re: Fix The Lady Lover and Steed Birthsigns
Compared to the many other things that have "fixes", why can't there just be a toggle in the config/launcher to allow user to use vanilla behavior if they so wish? If you allow this and users can change it during a game, this will be exploited. Enable "old" mode and get extra HP...

Not to mention that not all languages treat functions as first class objects. Unless modern C++ has lambdas?

Re: [OpenMW CS] Give two records of different types the same name
Alternatively it could be a convenience feature used by OpenCS that hides some of the details.
It could pre-pend the record type to the name behind the scenes, allowing the user to create two records with the "same" id.
However, I don't see much utility in such a feature.

Re: A Variety of Suggestions
In my opinion, only no.2 can be implemented pre 1.0. No.1 should be easy enough to implement but only post1.0. The morrowind community seemed to be divided between graphics, mechanics and modding potential. I'd prefer modding potential over the rest especially the scripting part of the engine. Qual...

Re: My thoughts on the design document (post 1.0)
It seems to me that an unmentioned secondary goal of "modernising" the engine has been slipped into Post-1.0, so yeah, I can see a little bit of bloat there.
Then again, perhaps those modernisation features are intended to happen in later releases than the de-hardcoding features?

Re: Windows Pre-build Script Documentation Updated
Another issue I see right away is the xInventory keyword (there are probably others like this). It seems to return multiple values (3 in this case). That is something our script engine can not do and I have no intention of hacking it in, because that would (at best) cause us other problems further ...
