Re: Marked Improvements, ?fixes

WHY DOES YOUR FATIGUE GO DOWN WHEN YOU RUN, JUMP, CAUSE GENOCIDE?!?! I do hope you mean "it should be called stamina and not fatigue -or- it should be reversed full/empty". In other words, I hope you do not mean "one should be able to jump/run/cause genocide indefinitely without ever...

Re: Polygons Might Be Gone Forever!

How can a missing compiler stop you when it comes to something of such greatness? Couldn't they just re-write it in another language if they had the source? I mean, a compiler is not what should stop you for something THAT epic (a movie in 8KB). Thus, it's obviously a hoax or a misunderstanding wher...

Re: Making better use of Ogre's capbilities?

newVerts[index] += (mat*srcVerts[index]) * weight; I haven't got a faintest clue about the workings of Ogre, but the logic behind multiplying a coordinate offset (if I'm getting it right and newVerts[] are coordinates) by weight is strange. This way, heavier stuff moves more, lighter stuff moves le...

Re: Monthly Release?

@natirips: OpenMW is unfinished, so releases are desirable. I agree with that. It was meant as a joke. I thought Firefox updated automatically I disable automatic updates (as well as pop-ups and anything that happens in the background) on every single piece of software that has such features right ...

People especially love Firefox's release rapidity.

That's why I'm still using Firefox 3 (since upgrading all the time would probably tear my hard drive apart).

Re: Spam registration wave

yeah, let's have something simple like that so that users are not annoyed. alternative question: What is the name of the game we are recreating? Actually, I know a gameserver's forum that asked "what game do we play here?" and still gets many bots at times. My idea was to make it non-voca...

Re: Spam registration wave

As I recently suggested (and probably got ignored for the time being because that server owner mostly comes on weekends) on another forum that is being spammed by bots, you could do it as a mini IQ test (requiring IQ>=20 && very minimal common sense). Something like: "Using the followin...
