Re: New Skywind trailer

I am divided, it depends on the case if I like the Bethesda interpretation or some other one. About re-interpretations, for example, I like darker daedric structures and rusty dwemer strongholds (unfortunately this texture pack has the side-effect that some metallic items, like buckets, become parti...

Re: FAQ movie, time for a remake!

I am probably biased since I do not like seeing videos in this contexts (FAQ, tutorials, explanations...) , I usually find it slow and inefficient. Besides those videos tend to be far too wordy.

Yet... There are exceptions and your works are so nice that I love them. :)

Just the movie is out-of-date, but definitely is not WeirdSexy fault! :) However I do not agree that small videos are better, if I want to see only few FAQs I s...

Re: Some questions about OpenMW!

I double-checked, you are right. Sorry. I guess you can 'kindly ask', but not stop other to distribute the binaries.

Re: Some questions about OpenMW!

That was my point, I think the GPL won't stop you to put limitations in the compiled form. (I might be wrong however) So you can try to use the lazyness of people and selling (for a small fee) the service of compilation. I know lots of people that would happily pay few dollars instead of learning ho...

Re: Some questions about OpenMW!

Wait, wait... you can compile, study or use it. You cannot distribute the compiled form. You have to distribute the code form.
But perhaps it does not work. However, even if you cannot limit others, you still can distribute the compiled version for a small fee and the code freely.

Are you aware that gnu/linux is commonly used in routers that have (probably) less computing power and memory than your phone?

Re: Some questions about OpenMW!

You can also use the fact that people is lazy or non-expert. Imagine that everything is under GPL (code, assets, everything), you have to share the code and anyone can build your software with the tools (compilers and such). But still you can state that the COMPILED and ready to use program can dist...
