Re: Random landtexture rotation

Seems like something in-engine to 'spice' things up a bit so that we don't have that effect. Keep in mind, this is above and beyond Bethesda games, it's notoriously bad in Oblivion for example. Doing this on-the-fly in OpenMW would be heavy work on CPU side but the results could be cached to speed ...

Re: Useful Measurement Values

Thanks for this! These numbers make a lot more sense than 70, both because Americans tend to think in feet outside of academia, and because programmers rarely pick arbitrary numbers that aren't powers of two. :V

Re: OpenMW 0.42.0

Well, this delay has proven to be beneficial on my end at least. Currently away on my vacation, and I'm getting semi-regular mails from my automated build system about failing due to there being not a single byte left on my system disk. Windows really doesn't like when that happens, so I've lost al...

Re: Bringing back drain-intelligence glitch

looting summoned creatures is not a bug its an exploit. restoring magicka by draining intelligence is a bug. you could find out why yourself. The way I've always used the terms, a bug is unintended behavior, irrespective of whether it's the result of a programming error or an oversight in design. A...

Re: Distant terrain

Could the camera's zoom be tweaked so the distant terrain looks a bit farther away, by maybe 25% to 35%? In the first image , Red Mountain looks a bit too close to Ald'ruhn to me, and I feel it's because the camera settings are based on vanilla Morrowind which wasn't designed for distant terrain. T...

Re: New OpenMW-CS Icons

Thanks! :) 2-eyed frog is creature type, while 3-eyed frog is leveled creature list. Though seeing it now, it might be better to do it as with the container and add a ? symbol to the frog rather than a third eye. What about a frog overlapping with a not-frog, like a bear or something? The thing tha...

Re: No arms in 1st and 3rd person

You said you disabled all mods, but it looks like your character is a WoW night elf. Am I missing something or are there still mods active?

Do models dropped in the appropriate folder automatically replace the stock models? I can't recall and can't check from where I am.

Re: Overhead Dialogue Text

Not entirely on topic, but I think it'd be good to allow to include speaker's name (as variable, like in "real" non-voiced dialogue) in subtitles like it's done in, uh, Skyrim, so some random mod could add something like this: Fargoth: I think we're about to become very close. %speakernam...

Is that 64bit or 128bit DDR3? You might be bottlenecked by vram bandwidth.
Truly, 64bit bus width sucks. :x
I looked up some stats for context: 64bit is the same as the PS2, half as much as the original Xbox. :P
