Re: Jumping with collision boxes
I noticed quite a few ancestral tombs have stairs that are hard to get up and the halfway inn in Pelagiad I could not get upstairs in 0.32, got to go back and try it in 0.33 though. This is still a known issue and hasn't been fixed in 0.33 sadly. https://bugs.openmw.org/issues/1638 Oh. Should I use...

Re: Jumping with collision boxes
Yeah, it's not something you generally notice unless you spend a lot of time running from guards and climbing buildings...which I both do.

Re: Mouse Wheel and Zooming
Oh yeah, I forgot about the quick menu. The only problems with that are the lack of spaces and, counter-intuitively, the freedom to put whatever you want up there. I'd probably do 1 - Blade/Main Weapon 2 - Ranged/Backup Weapon 3 - Favorite Non-AOE Magic Attack 4 - Second Magic Attack 5 - AOE Magic A...

Re: Theft, item ownership, and guard omnipotence
Yeah... I don't really have any solid solutions, just come half-baked ideas. This isn't very important, I don't think, but I did notice it and thought I'd mention the issue.

Re: Script function to find closest entity
Listing anything within a given radius huh? That works perfectly well too, assuming the list could be sorted or culled in some way. I didn't know you already had something like that in mind. Neat.

Script function to find closest entity
Would the OpenMW be able to implement a script function that returns the closest monster/NPC/player to a given object, point, or other entity? Back when I played around with modding a lot. I spent a week trying to make a turret mod that automatically fired on anything that got too close to it. The b...

Mouse Wheel and Zooming
OpenMW version 0.33.0-1 trusty1 from PPA OpenMW (ubuntu trusty main). Running Linux Mint 17 64 bit. As it stands now, if I hit the mouse wheel in first person, it puts me staring at the back of my character's head. Vice versa, if I zoom in too far while in third person, it puts me back into first. W...

Jumping with collision boxes
OpenMW version 0.33.0-1 trusty1 from PPA OpenMW (ubuntu trusty main). Running Linux Mint 17 64 bit. I'm not sure if this is a bug or just an implementation style, but jumping seems slightly off compared to Morrowind. In vanilla, you could hold the 'forward' button while walking into an object, and t...

Theft, item ownership, and guard omnipotence
OpenMW version 0.33.0-1 trusty1 from PPA OpenMW (ubuntu trusty main). Running Linux Mint 17 64 bit. After talking to chargen guy Socucius Ergalla, lots of players will run to the bookcase to the right and steal that golden platter. They'll then drop it, let the guard confront and "search them&q...
