Re: Tamriel Rebuilt + MorroUI merger?
Something that hasn't been mentioned yet but is probably the most important part: Shipping TR could be illegal. Tamriel Rebuilt is a mod based on Morrowind and on Bethesdas Elder Scrolls IP. Thus it (at least partially) belongs to Bethesda. If we ship Tamriel Rebuilt with OpenMW, we would be shippin...

Re: A enemy fatigue bar
This is very suited as a Lua-mod instead of an engine feature. The question is if it is already doable or not.

Re: OpenMW Nightly builds
Don't think so, but I believe Capo runs Fedora so he might be able to give a better answer. If there are no packaged nightly builds anywhere for Fedora, perhaps consider making a script to build OpenMW yourself. It's quite simple actually. It's just that it takes some time (depending on your hardwar...

Shiny new things are coming
Almost half a year has passed since the last development blog post. But that's okay, since what OpenMW lacks in public relations, our team makes up for in development -- and we have some huge news for you this time. This post will only cover the latest progress by the way: there are a lot of things ...

Re: Website Feature Requests and Suggestions
If it is decided not to have the blog/news on the front/home page, at least I'd suggest that the entire FAQ shouldn't be listed there - it seems a bit messy and overwhelming. Maybe a concise summary of the project with a link to the detailed separate FAQ page instead. Oh right. No, the FAQ is just ...

Re: Website Feature Requests and Suggestions
I almost veto against blog on the first page. It is great for regular visitors, but that's it. For first time visitors, having the blog on first page is terrible. First time visitors need to quickly be able to get an answer to "wtf is this". Regular visitors already know that we have a blo...

Re: Application JSchmidt
It's been long discussed and generally agreed that we want to move away from Wordpress and move to a static site instead, We even have an issue for that on gitlab. So JSchmidt is not doing this just randomly.

Re: Application JSchmidt
So we've waited for quite some time now for someone to start making a new website for us. Finally I decided to start making a Hugo site myself like a week ago, since I have some good old HTML and CSS experience and felt like learning something new. It seemed like a fun project and a nice way to be a...

Post-release catchup party!
Post-release catchup party! Hello again! While there have been several huge announcements we've wanted to share with you lately, we decided to wait with these news until after the release of OpenMW 0.47.0 to avoid stealing too much of the hype. Sorry for that, but we hope you understand. Now, witho...

Re: Documenting Xbox UI differences from PC
I just had a thought. Different gamepads call the buttons differently. And even when they share the names A/B/X/Y, they still might not be layout the same way (see switch vs xbox iirc). I guess we should have one standard layout and name the UI image files according to that standard (say, A.svg, B.s...
