Re: Some modeling/animation questions. Offering RDP Renderin
Since this project is gonna be huge (!), I guess you'll need a lot of help (and you'll need to have a good organization to have the same atmosphere on everything that everyone makes :) You/someone would have to decide what's good enough and what's not I guess). Anyway, I love this idea, I've never u...

Re: All according to script
The thing is, 99% of all the assets already available for morrowind are based on photos (which is boring imo) and are also diverse in style, meaning, you can never get a "complete" feeling with it, all assests will vary in quality and style. Having a huge pack with high res and high poly a...

Re: Unneeded Mods list
Code patch IS unneeded since it fixes errors in the original engine that won't be made in this engine. MGE and MWSE is another case. They will eventually be unneeded, but atm, they are just incompatible. MWSE adds some scripting possibilities through a third party program. More advanced scripts will...

Re: Wake up call
Hold up on there hoss, SandStranger is still with us and has joined us as a developer. So while scrawl did some of the work in the beginning, SS is has now forked and starting sending in pull requests which are reviewed by everyone here and Zini signed off on his first PR. Despite all the drama, th...

Re: OpenMW 0.32.0
This. Won't Ogre 1.10 solve some of the problems, like memory leaks or something like that? Or have I misunderstood this? How far away is Ogre 1.10 then?psi29a wrote: There is also Ogre 1.10 to look forward to as well.

Re: New blog theme (mobile devices friendly)
I don't know how it looks on smartphones, but the website works fine the way it is on my iPad. This whole "mobile-friendly" nonsense has caused more problems than it has solves, the mobile versions of websites tend to be a complete mess that doesn't allow me to use any of my useful tablet...

Re: Terrible Lag
Thanks again for the speedy replies! I'm seeing numbers <10 FPS for the most part, Down to 1 or 2 outdoors, and this is with shadows completely off, shaders off, view range min, and running 1024x768 windowed. I could happily live with 15-25 FPS, but what I'm currently getting is crippling to gamepl...

Re: Android build openmw
Totally understand you. These 'articles' makes me loose faith in humanity kinda. But I do hope you or someone else pick up this project again sometime. Not that I'm interested in playing an android-port myself (touch screen controls - FUUUU-) , but it's interesting to see if it'll work out.
