seems about twice as fast when virtualized, so it went from unbearably slow to just slow.

Well, to be fair it did say:
Folly is also complementary to other libraries like Boost and the C++ Standard Library rather than suffering from the "Not Invented Here" syndrome that plagues some companies.

two small bugs I noticed in the latest master.

1) I'm able to talk to slaughterfish

2) You cannot keep your head above the water surface when swimming, it just keeps going back underwater.

I noticed that the OGRE trunk has lots of fixes, including texture fixes. Perhaps the dark textures are because of OGRE bugs that are now fixed.
