We've already discussed this in another thread, the answer from the OpenMW project as a whole, is no.

We will not officially support other games file formats.

Our focus is purely BSA/NIF.

Not sure if it helps, but I currently play with low-resolution water shader and shadow as those are the largest hits for me.

OpenMW can be forked to add support for DLSS, but we are not allowed by terms of licenses (both GPL and Nvidia's) to ship them together. Any examples (which towns)? Do you have Object Paging and Active Grid enabled? (both should be on for added performance). Morrowind's assets are pretty crappy really hamper the draw call, enabling the above allows some special sauce to help optimise this. Keep in mind that OpenMW uses OpenGL which i...

If you build yourself, then the cmake git check will fail (because not a repo) and will default the the version declared in source. Was misspoken, that was the crash log. What he meant with GDB was a stack-trace. Since you're running the generic build, it might take some doing... however, just give: `gdb ./openmw` a try and see what happens. Since it's a script, it might not give us what we want... as the script does some magic ...
