Re: Diagnosing Morrowind light pop-in
I'm just tested on latest nightly on Linux. The light pop in still there for years now. Light 'popping' in this way has been there is only even more noticeable in 0.47 because of distant statics (object paging). We're not ignoring the problem though, just that other things have taken priority. As p...

Re: OpenMW Nightly builds
@jackleson You need to upgrade to OSG 3.6.5, period. 3.6.4 is broken, which is why 3.6.5 it is provided in the PPA.

Re: OpenGEX as .Nif alternative for OpenMW
For point 1, I've pushed upstream master and OpenSceneGraph-3.6 to our OSGoS repo: https://github.com/OpenMW/osg
I have also rebased our 3.6 branch on top of OpenSceneGraph-3.6 so you should be seeing some perf improvement there.

Re: Image for "nightly instruction" missing in downloads
Thanks, fixed.
It was apparently put in as some image gallery with javascript magic. I removed that and just made it a plain image.

Re: OpenMW using wrong GPU
Well... I have laptops with hybrid iGPU/dGPU intel/nvidia. In nvidia's tools there is a sort of whitelist thingy that says which application should use which GPU. I think win10 made that more generic. Something like this? https://winaero.com/set-preferred-gpu-apps-windows-10/ For developers: https:/...

Re: Nightly builds not launching Mac OS X
Correct, newer versions are not compatible with older MacOS releases. I'm not sure where the cutoff is though.

Either here, and rename your Subject to "TES Engine Research" or create a new topic with similar title. I'll update the admins section, @Lgro is no longer with the project and @sir_herrbatka comes in from time to time but isn't fully engaged. I think it is also time we distinguish between users of t...

Re: OpenMW 0.47.0
I remember the original one you posted, it got critique because it had the feeling that it was trying to be "official" even though OpenMW team didn't make it. This time around, the subtle hint to it being a modding show-case is okay but it still lacks "unofficial" that was asked for. Overall it look...

Re: Unable to compilation in Manjaro/Arch
Manjaro/Arch needs to provide double precision bullet.
Apparently it's an open bug:
https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/41368
You'll need to contribute to this bug that openmw requires this as well.
You can point out that Debian/Ubuntu has had it for years now.
