OpenMW Refuses to Enforce AntiAliasing

Hello support.

I am having an incredibly frustrating problem that I am unable to diagnose. I started with a fresh install of Morrowind with the latest version of Openmw. The display setting anti-aliasing under graphics is not saving my choice of 16x. No matter what I try to do the setting always resets to 0 after the openmw launcher is closed and or TES3 is booted.

I have also tried deleting settings.cfg and switching around AA and the AA alpha setting to see if it fixed the issue. Can anyone assist? I am also not using any mods.

Not all GPUs support 16x MSAA. When your run OpenMW, it tires the AA level you've selected, and if your graphics driver won't do it, it decreases it and tries again. If it got all the way down to zero, it might be the case that you don't have a working OpenGL driver at all, though. We might be able to learn more if you upload your openmw.log.
