Adding mods not part of a list

Post by ironside31 »

Like the subject says if I follow a small list and then add other mods from other lists will that screw things up when I go to the finishing step. Some lists are just to huge and others too small or dont have a mod I want from another list. I love this program since Morrowind never wants to update the screen resolution on my laptop to 1920x1080.

It should be ok (I don't use pre-made lists and have 85 content= entries) , but sometimes mods that change the same thing need to be loaded in a specfiic order to work correctly.

example :
a while ago I created a small mod that doubled the amount of gold of a few merchants, including Sirollus Saccus .

I cheked ingame and sirollus still had the original gold amount.
Turned out lgnpc pax redoran also made changes to sirollus that overwroite my changes.
Loading my mod after pax redoran solved this.

I do suggest you use a leveled list fixer and an object merge utility to reduce the chance for conflicts.

My choices for those are https://github.com/jmelesky/omwllf and https://gitlab.com/bmwinger/delta-plugin
