Speaking of the Debian package, I noticed that 0.47 is still in SID, so not really available without compromising a productive system's integrity.freem wrote: ↑10 Jan 2022, 17:31Maybe you could simply try to use debian's? I agree with you, let's not waste hardware: make it run sane OSes like debian insteadstain wrote: ↑10 Jan 2022, 01:36 There is no 0.47 32-bit in Ubuntu ppa.
OpenMW 0.46 is running pretty fine on 32-bit Linux Mint 19.3. Linux Mint 19.3 is still supported.
Please, could you make an official 0.47 build for i386? As far as i can see Debian has managed to build 0.47 i386, so could have Ubuntu.
It's no time to ditch still capable hardware and there are still 32-bit OSes around.
Thank you for the release.
Migration into testing is blocked by a mygui dependency, and there seems little progress on that... or is there? To those in the know, how good are our chances for getting 0.47 into testing soon?
(I can't fathom the nuisances of maintaining packages, so please accept my apologies if I underestimate the difficulty of the issue!)
