Must be the incomplete scripting implementation as she thought I had corprus. hah(until I noticed the little icon in the bottom right corner of the screen, did corprus get enabled for some reason?)
Keep in mind that you can tweak a few settings through My Documents/My Games/settings.cfg
To see the available settings, see settings-default.cfg in the openmw folder (don't mess with it though)
