In light of Apple's plan to depreciate OpenGL in favor of Metal, what is going to happen with Mac support in OpenMW?

Deprecation means that OpenGL won't be updated anymore. But afaik they haven't been updating it for quite some time anyway, stopped at GL 3.3. So nothing will change I'd guess.

Actually, they got up to 4.1 as of macOS 10.9 (Mavericks).

And as Raven said, deprecated means no longer updated and slated for removal at some point. Could be one year, could be ten years, could be never. We will get plenty of warning before it is removed entirely. In the mean time, OpenMW will continue to work as it always has on macOS.

Oh, so they've added Tesselation support. Nonetheless GL 3.3 and 4.1 are 8 years old by now.

I don't see them removing it anytime soon. They would break a lot of existing applications.
