Call for testing: Tribunal and BM main quests

Post by scrawl »

We already have word from Rebel-Rider that the MW main quest is complete-able. Time to move on to the expansions. I have a bad feeling about them. Only a very small fraction of bugs reported so far are against the expansions. They also use functionality (scripting instructions) that the main game doesn't. In particular, werewolf mechanics need a lot of testing. I think we are still missing a few bits in our implementation.

As soon as I finish my main quest playthrough I'll get on these, though progress has been slow for me because of other things.

Should be noted that the current installer doesn't seem to install the expansions properly. Using separate CDs, the installer doesn't install any of Bloodmoon's loose files (the esm and bsa are fine, but none of the videos or sounds seem to be installed), and I think Tribunal's sounds are put into the wrong directory (sound/ vs sounds/). The esms also seem to get dated incorrectly, as Bloodmoon.esm gets loaded before Tribunal.esm. And with using the original separate CDs, it's missing the final 1.6.1820 patch.

Its like cliffracers but ten times more annoyng, sound volume is off and i get numerous boars oinking loud from my speakers, games slow down significantly

Well guess thats joys of testing heh,

But at least quests are p. stable, so far there was only one bug in MQ witch scrawl fixed, so far i made two quests in hircine's path,
