We aren't even remotely ready to release the CS. Progress is slow unfortunately.

Update on the release situation:

We recently acquired two new crash bugs:

- https://bugs.openmw.org/issues/711
- viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1402&start=50

These are both blockers. So it does not look like we can get into the RC phase now. In the worst case scenario (if things take a very long time to fix), we can disable pathfinding for this release, but the first bug must be fixed.

Update again: The first bug has been fixed. Now we are down to one blocker.

Was just wondering; has the Direct3d issue that were present in the "Windows dev build", compiled after particles were implemented, been resolved? No MyGUI components visible with Direct3d, only OpenGL.

I don't think so. At least I am not aware of any fix.

Okay then. Looks like we are ready. Create the RC builds, please! IIRC we are currently without an active OS X builder. Right?

Both Ubuntu and Windows RCs are now mirrored on google code.

Hi, I had a look at the Windows 32-Bit RC build, but when I press f2 to open the console, the game freezes.

Edit: If I press f2 again, the game unfreezes. Same with the esc key and right click. Therefore, presumably the problem is with the GUI windows not appearing.

Edit 2: Yeah, the GUI has entirely disappeared. No windows are appearing when talking to NPCs, opening containers etc.
