Well, I'm no voice actor and I have to try to speak clearly in the videos. So, it's not really my normal speaking voice and is prone to change from one video to the next.

Also, I was starting to get sick when I recorded this one :)

BrotherBrick, I dunno, I probably started recording and went "awh, that's way to fast" and then started over speaking alot slower to compensate. As far as the GUI thing goes, I'm not sure everyone watching the video knows what a gooie is. IRL sometimes I say GUI and sometimes gooie. I think Americans do tend to spell out acronyms three letters and shorter, though. Ones longer than that are usually intended to be said like a word. Like SCRAM.

Some issue with a shiny dependency.
Correction, this is a OICS (the input mapping library) dependency.
Maybe look into tinyxml2, it could have this fixed.

Are the previously posted linux binary and deb RCs, as well as the OS X RC, ready for release?

I also see that we didn't put up a linux binary or deb file on the download page for 0.18.0... was there a reason for that?

You should never release the RC deb files, Ubuntu users can get it from the PPA. We currently do not have any Debian maintainers, so they are out of luck. Wait until K1ll gives you his final tar.gz files.

In general, do not use RCs or anything created before Zini tagged for release.

@Zini: Was this completed for 0.19 or is this another issue?

Nope. We don't have proper death animations yet. The current implementation is just a stopgap to work as visual indicator for deaths.
