If you want, it does fix crashing when using openmw-cs (without openmw installed) from the PPA.

Draft of the release is up on Github. Let me know when the packages are uploaded, and I'll finish it up. If I could trouble you to leave the Github release as a draft so I can drop everything at the same time I would appreciate it!
