0.4.8 World doesn't render, 0.4.7 World only half loaded

In 0.4.8 the world is not rendering, only menus, HUD, sky and text.

In 0.4.7 the world only half loads. Doors cannot be interacted with and items can't be picked up.

I've been playing this game quite happily for many hours on 0.4.8 and this issue has come out of nowhere. I've reinstalled both versions, no change. No mods or texture packs, only Morrowind.esm, Tribunal.esm and Bloodmoon.esm. I did install some mods (intelligent texture pack, tamriel rebuilt, project atlas, patch for purist) with no problems soon before all this happened. I noticed that 0.4.7 loaded two Tamriel Rebuilt bsa files but its data files are not selected in OpenMW Launcher. Anyway I am not in the Tamriel Rebuilt areas so it shouldn't affect anything.

There's a slim chance this is caused by some extremely cursed settings you've set, so sharing your openmw.cfg and settings.cfg would be a good first step. I'd also suggest checking you're not using any third-party shaders, e.g. vtastek's or Zesterer's, because if they're used with a different OpenMW version than the one they were made for, they won't be compatible and could cause this kind of bug.

It's pretty obvious that the 0.48 log doesn't match what you've shown in the video, and it doesn't show any problems, just that you loaded a save without having some of the mods it depends on enabled. The 0.47 log shows a pretty major problem, though, although I don't know what would cause it without seeing your settings.

I'm not sure what tells you that. I opened the log from the nightly build directory straight after recording the video, saved a copy and pasted it into pastebin. Comparing the log with the video when I load my autosave in Arena Waistworks it says Loading cell Vivec, Arena Waistworks and when I teleport to Ebonheart using Divine Intervention it says Loading cell Ebonheart and so on.

Cause was settings.cfg viewing distance = 0. Changed it to 8192, now things are back to normal. Not sure what caused viewing distance to be set to zero.
