Grass generation
I see grass is being worked on now, will it be generated according to ground texture or will it still have to be pre-placed like MGE grass? Wondering for large scale landscape edits.

Right now the focus has been on supporting existing grass mods that were created for MGE XE, but what should happen beyond that is still being discussed. For grass that "just works" with landscape height editing, the most likely outcome in the medium-term is generation based on ground texture and landscape painting as in later Elder Scrolls titles. However, that will first require extra functionality to OpenMW-CS and .omwaddon data.
