Re: OpenMW History and Timeline
Wait, didn't SCALE 17x start today? I assume no OpenMW talks there this year.
Maybe with all the developments that happened since SCALE 12x you dudes from around there could go visit there next year and present the OpenMW awesomeness. Maybe even have TES3MP running on few laptops there to demonstrate all the advancements with a small LAN party

Yea, I'll be going tomorrow and Saturday. Was too busy with schoolwork to put anything together this year, but next year would be cool!

More just communication needs. A single topic on the modding forums doesn't fit the scope of a larger mod, let alone a project of OpenMW's scope. Not to mention that the 200 post limit would make keeping track of what is where maddening.Ravenwing wrote: ↑06 Mar 2019, 22:08What made their forums unsuitable? Heavy-handed moderators? Lack of flexibility? Legal troubles?NullCascade wrote: ↑06 Mar 2019, 21:04Nicolay didn't have anything directly to do with that. I bought the domain and maintained it for a few years while in college. This was necessary after some discussion on the Google Groups/email discussions, as neither GG nor the Beth forums were suitable for us. When I vanished Lukasz took up the mantle and after a while I set up my domain to redirect to his.

It is a quite thing to be forgotten, but much more terrible fate is to be remembered just for the memes.
