Collab program testing

Post by Deonsion »

Hi all. Working on the collaboration setup right now with Berandas, but can't figure out what to use for a web based collaboration system.

Here is something I found: http://collabtive.o-dyn.de/

Anyone else have an opinion on this?

As has been described elsewhere, we need a claims system for all of these objects, and a way to organize everythign. Google drive would work only for hosing the files we do and a claims system in it would be rather messy I believe.

Basically we need to create a database of profiles, those profiles are forms containing some information and files, it would be nice if we could add elements such as textboxes and checkboxes, so everything could be easily sorted by our criteria we need, also files need versioning. And it should be free.
According these criteria, does anyone know about something?

If I understand you correctly you are looking for an opensource DAM (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_asset_management) system. Here is what I have found:

Islandora:
http://www.islandora.ca/downloads

Razuna:
http://www.razuna.org/download

ResourceSpace:
http://www.resourcespace.org/get

Hope that helps. :)
