It is probably a problem with me and humor, but what is the big deal with Comic Sans? It is not the best sans serif font around, but still...

It's ugly, it doesn't follow basic font design principles, it hits the uncanny valley between typed text and handwriting, it was designed to be displayed in a tiny size on low resolution monitors, and most importantly it was never meant for widespread use YET it's one of the most commonly used fonts there is.
