Wow, I always felt that MW sounds were done not completly right when compared with other games like Arx Fatalis or Half-Life, and the second one is much older than morrowind. Though wheater sounds are VERY cool IMHO.
I must try this mod.

For immersion also try the Termina moon!
Re: What are your favourite mods?
After a little thinking here is how I would do the skill system.
I post it here as remainder in the case I (or anyone other) will really make it.
This part is just related to the game actions, it does not consider the current value of the skill.. the level.. the attributes... or anything other. It is one of the possible weights.
For example I would probably weight the skill increase also with the current skill value (x) with a formula like: e^-(.01*x).
Of course any comment is welcome.
x is in [0, 1]
Formula 1, skill increase is weighted with:
x -- on failure
1-x -- on success
Formula 2, skill increase is weighted with:
min(1.8*x+.1, -1.8*x+1.9) -- x depends on ???
If nothing is written it is formula 1 in the most obvious way.
Acrobatics (2: x is stamina)
Alchemy
Alteration
Armorer
Athletics (2: x is stamina)
Axe
Block (1: x is the chance of blocking)
Blunt Weapon
Conjuration
Destruction
Enchant
Hand-to-hand
Illusion
Long Blade
Marksman
Mercantile
Mysticism
Restoration
Security
Short Blade
Sneak
Spear
Speechcraft
For armors, 2: x is enemy chance of hitting us
Heavy Armor
Light Armor
Medium Armor
Unarmored

Bennet, could you provide links to those mods?
Re: What are your favourite mods?
That guy has a tax site in his sig. I do believe it is a spam bot. They are getting good though as that almost made sense. Someone is specifically targeting this type of forum, or they vastly improved the ability of the bot to grab fragments and names.ElderTroll wrote:Bennet, could you provide links to those mods?

Yeah, they are getting better That user was using Pakistan IP range, so it was definitely a spam-bot, it is deleted now (and whole IP range used by this bot is banned).Tarius wrote:That guy has a tax site in his sig. Yes, I'm using it always. It makes morrowind a lot better and interesting. Dialogs are unique!
It's so good that when I go to the place not yet covered It feels so... boring.
