DnB Headz

Post by raevol »

Apparently we've got a good set of DnB heads in this community.

Let's start this thread off right, with rules.

1. NO DUBSTEP. I love dubstep, but let's keep it in a separate thread plz.

And now, post yo chunes. POST EM.

sakuramboo recommends http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XI_3gFJgE5I which I am posting here to remind myself to listen to later.

Does sakuramboo use the forums? I'm not sure if he meant this Phetsta track is techstep, but this is more what I think of when I think techstep: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4ukBUVKddl0

His track sounds like like jump up to my ears: http://soundcloud.com/dj-aphrodite/aph3 ... erstyle-sc

But I don't want to start a genre war. :) I like it all.

If you like Photek, you MUST listen to: http://soundcloud.com/photek/pyramid It's more of a half-time thing, so in the interest of the rules, let's all agree right now that halftime DnB is NOT dubstep. ;)

And a track I fell in love with recently, No Problem by Chase & Status: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sss9aNbtEpA Definitely kind of a jump up thing, and I like it more for the breakdown with the vocals and bongos/drums than for the main bassline/synth, but it's sweet. :D

Ok one more, Harpoon by Nanotek: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=crBi5iw527g KEEP YOUR HEAD DOWN

Outlets like Pandora and Spotify really suck on trying to find good artists. Really, the best place for electronic music is di.fm. The free stream is nice. Ads are played about every 30 minutes or so and its usually just one commercial. You have a current track display (even in console based players like moc). Their Android app is pretty nice, too.

Thanks guys I needed this. Stuff they post on UKF dnb channel really started annoying me months ago. And I didn't know how to search for good stuff.
