Small console observation...
Open the console, select a random NPC and do "sethealth 0". Their death animation plays immediately, whereas it doesn't play until you close the console in the original engine.

Interesting. Animations should not advance while the console is up. Care to file a bug report on our tracker?

None of the GUI modes stop time, I've seen. Lights continue to pulse, water continues to animate, clouds continue to scroll, etc. I've figured it was just an unimplemented thing.Zini wrote:Interesting. Animations should not advance while the console is up. Care to file a bug report on our tracker?

Does this happen even for spell making, inventory, training window, etc?

Yep, even during the pause menu. (if, while in the pause menu, you go into the console, kill someone and then quickly exit the console back to the pause menu, you will see the person die behind the menu)
