I have been struggling to get edges to appear smooth, ive tried everything, even manually set AA to 16 in the config file.

I am wondering if any of you know of a fix for issue?

On Windows, if the necessary number of samples for MSAA is not supported, there's no fallback to a lower number of samples unlike Linux. Try 8x.
