MSVCP140.dll Missing

I've searched but found no obvious solution. Running on an old Win7 Laptop which might not be helping. Is there anything else else I need to install. I can't find a list of prerequisites that need to be installed (apart from MW itself) to make OpenMW work.

Full error message I get is...

"The program can't start because MSVCP140.dll is missing from
your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem."

Needless to say reinstalling doesn't help at all.

Awesome thank you that was exactly what I needed. I'd come across that site before but wasn't sure if it was legit.. of course if I'd read a bit further I'd have seen it pointed to the MS website to download the needed files

Thank you!

Do we not ship the MS redist along with our installer?

I'm honestly not sure. I'm on a very old Laptop that belong to my girlfriend which had just been retired to playing video's on the TV. I un-retired it so I could do some gaming at her place and it's had some funky issues with updates and certain things missing that shouldn't be.

At home I had no issue installing OpenMW on my own comp.

Hi,

I have Windows 7 PC.

When I turn on my computer, I get one popup in succession. They say:

The program can't start because MSVCP140.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.
There was no changes made before experiencing this issue.
The troubleshooting steps I have tried so far is running Norton Security Suite, and I ran sfc/scannow and it came back as Verification 100% complete , i have also download the dll file from : https://www.geek-windows.com/msvcp140-d ... s-10-2019/. Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.
I also try to reinstall the program but every time I do, it doesn't install and shows this popup. But I don't know if its the right program that is telling me to reinstall.
Thank you in advance for any advice/feedback.
