Already had one amazing playthrough of the MQ with OpenMW that was heavily modded and completely unpatched with 0 CTDs (save for a quarantine of Seyda Neen as scripts froze some point.) Great build and really enjoying OpenMW.
I'm playing on Mac OS Sierra, and whilst play-through and (manual) mod installation is fine, I've looked for ages to find the *user* settings file, in order to tinker with draw distance and other config options. Every-time I edit the 'settings-default.cfg' file, nothing happens. I cannot find the user settings files at all.
I have installed OpenMW as an application, but when it runs, the openmw.dmg disk images runs -> launcher appears and MW plays fine. Is this causing a different file to overwrite the settings files in the OpenMW Applications folder?
Any help or thoughts from anyone much appreciated.
