Firstly, Happy New Year.
Secondly, apologies for my first post being a 'noob' issue!
Anyway, I made a fresh install of Morrowind (GOG version) and then installed OpenMW into that location. Everything went smoothly and the game loads up fine. However, when I push the keys to walk (WASD) my character stops after a couple of steps. It's not always the same amount. Sometimes my character stops after a couple of frames. Sometimes I can make it all the way to the steps in the boat. When it happens I have to take my finger off the key and press again. Pressing 'Q' to auto walk works fine though.
As you can imagine, it renders the game pretty much unplayable for me.
Is this a known issue? Is there a fix? Am I just daft and have missed something!?
I'm using the latest release from the main page (0.4.1) and I'm on Windows 10 Pro.
Thanks for any help.

Does the console (black window) spit out any errors?
Re: I Can't Walk in the Game
There are numerous threads about this issue. If you have a controller plugged in, try unplugging it.

Unplugged controller. A tedious fix but at least it worked.
Thanks for the tip.
