Is it a real Morrowind installation or is it just a copy of someone's directory with a possibly modified files?

It's my friend's copy. So I wouldn't know. But, I installed it from the disk images. It went through the normal setup.exe sorta installation on wine, so that must be just as fresh as the hard copies.

To be fair, my clean install of Morrowind I'm using for OpenMW gets that same error.
Morrowind, Tribunal, Bloodmoon. In that order, all patched to the latest version.
And yes, that file does not exists as a loose file or part of any bsa.

Now that is really strange. A bug in one of the ESMs?
