Objext player not found

Post by JoePi » 18 Sep 2012, 18:32

Hello,
i was really happy when i saw, that there is a solution so that i can play a elder scrolls game on my linux.
I just instantly installed it and transfert the Data Files folder from my win8 VM to linux and tried to run the game, but the launcher starts and then a blackscreen occures and closes after about a secound.

i already used the debug and found this error: object player not found ?
i would be very thankful, if someone could help me :(

More data please. This error message could mean anything. Which version of OpenMW are you using? Is there anything interesting in the logs?

And where can i find the logs? i think i am using the lastest one 0.14
but i installed it the last time via apt so it can be, that it isnt. if the files on the ppt isnt always the latest.

Obvious something is wrong with your setup, but I still can't see what. We need more data. I suggest you post both all the output you get on the console and your openmw.cfg file (usually found in ~/.config/openmw). Also, please tell us again where exactly your Morrowind data files are located.
