Openmw and openmw-cs problem

Post by lambda »

I have a mod on nexus "Faction Training" that works on nightly 0.46 but not on stable 0.45 because it throws an error of the type:

"sEffectFortifyAttribute effect of spell 'lft_agility' has a skill argument present. Dropping the argument."

As I said, this is fixed in upcoming 0.46. The problem, as it were, is that such a "skill argument" is not shown by openmw-cs (the mod was done entirely on it), so there is nothing I can do on my end to make the mod usable without asking users to upgrade to nightly. So I guess what I am asking is if, despite appearances, is there something I can do to make the mod work for 0.45? And if not, as a suggestion, look at what openmw-cs is doing wrong, if it is, to "insert a skill value" even though I certainly did not insert it.

Pre-existing releases have issues. That's why we keep making more releases instead of finding something else to do. It's just been a while since we actually got around to releasing a release.
