How does OpenMW handle positional audio?
Does it rely on openal/sdl to pass relative>position or am i missing something?

It uses OpenAL to specify sounds' world positions, and the listener position and orientation. OpenAL then handles the rest, automatically calculating the relative direction and distance for proper panning and volume attenuation.
