Gotcha, OpenMW hangs... that shouldn't happen either. Still a bug. :)

I don't see any crash or hang when using the Linux 0.44 RC2 version. The specified warning appears in the log, but no obvious other effects.

I suggest the bug #4526 be marked as "Research needed" or something similar.

Probably unrelated - the mod is contained in a rar archive, which Archive Manager errors on (opening only the README, not the esp or bsa) , but unrar-free extracts successfully.

If you go to the post section of that mod in Nexus. A user also complains the same issue. So Im not the only one..

Just type in console : coc "vos, lighthouse"

Does not crash for me on Linux. Probably this bug is OS specific or depends on OSG version (I use 3.6.0).

You should look at the nif file in nifskope. Its missing the UV for the trapdoor.
Or check it ingame, see if it renders a texture properly.
The trapdoor(problem mesh) is inside the lighthouse.

This still happens, I am using Release 48 (with normal maps for doors in my mod load) ... seem Tel Vos Lighthouse triggers a CTD...yes a crash to desktop - not a hang, a CTD, clear - no ambiguity.

Out of bounds UVs are bad, and OpenMW's handling of them is worse. It just happens to not always cause a crash, so we've misdiagnosed the cause and fix in the past. See https://gitlab.com/OpenMW/openmw/-/issues/7353.
